I am the Executive Assistant and Office Manager here at demand.io. In this role, I provide support to various members of the team so their focus can primarily remain on the overall mission and goals of the company. I strive to create an organized environment providing the essentials and perks the team needs to succeed.
Originally from Pennsylvania, I graduated from McDaniel College, a private, liberal arts college, located in Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in Communication. During my time in college, I worked in administrative roles that I felt I succeeded in. After graduating college, I moved west to Los Angeles, California and started my work in the event space as a freelancer. A year after moving, I wanted to jump back into an administrative position, which is how I found myself as the assistant recruiter to a team of recruiters filling C-level accounting and finance roles. After roughly a year, I started a new position as an administrative assistant and months later became the Executive Assistant for an event staffing company which was a perfect union of my previous administrative and events experience coming together. This experience led me to where I am today at demand.io.
In my role, my primary goal is to cultivate an atmosphere that is consistently upbeat and positive. By ensuring the office environment is conducive to productivity and well-being, I aim to empower my coworkers to remain focused on their tasks without unnecessary distractions. Additionally, I strive to take on responsibilities that would otherwise burden my boss and colleagues, allowing them to dedicate their energy and attention to their core work responsibilities. In doing so, I aspire to contribute to the overall success and efficiency of our team here at Demand.io, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Beach Volleyball
Beach volleyball is my favorite sport and hobby which keeps me busy on the weekends and has brought many friendships into my life. I received my AA rating with the California Beach Volleyball Association in 2023. I strive to maintain this rating and eventually receive the top rating in CBVA, an AAA rating.
Running
During the weekdays, running is my favorite way to stay active. Like volleyball, running has brought great community into my life. Midnight Runners is my favorite run club here in Los Angeles and has pushed me to become a better runner.
Vegan Food
I transition from a vegetarian diet to a vegan diet just before the world closed in 2020. During this time, I explored a lot with cooking vegan recipes and still strive to try a new recipe or vegan restaurant each month.
