Michael Quoc

CEO

As a product-oriented CEO, I spend most of my time researching technology trends impacting e-commerce and collaborating with my world class team to design and develop digital commerce products that empower consumers, creators, and sellers to achieve their goals.

My journey

Growing up in Cupertino next to Apple's first campus and with two software engineers as parents, I've been immersed in the Silicon Valley ethos as far back as I can remember. After graduating from UC Berkeley, I built a career in tech, from running product at startups, working in venture finance and eventually leading the product innovation group at one of the world's leading internet companies of the time, Yahoo.

I started Demand.io to apply principles of rapid innovation, community UX, and collaborative team management to solve hard problems in e-commerce.

Why I choose to work here every day.

I’ve designed Demand.io around a concentric circles model of value alignment. Starting with my closest stakeholders, my employees and Equity Partners, I seek to enable career growth, personal growth, and wealth creation. Working outwards to our external stakeholders, merchant partners, and community members, my goal is to empower each to generate value, expand their reach and resources, and achieve their goals. Through alignment created by our digital services, I seek to enable our stakeholders and audiences to live happier, more fulfilling lives.

3 things I go all in for.

1

Innovation & AI

I wake up every morning to research technology trends and make predictions on where we’re headed in this incredibly exciting time we’re living through.

2

Travel

I’m addicted to travel, always planning the next trip. If I’m not in the South Pacific scuba diving, I’m exploring Europe or Asia. I love introducing my kids to new cultures, foods, and experiences.

3

Fitness & sports

As a serial hobbyist, I’ve developed deep loves for triathlons, snow skiing, scuba diving, tennis, Muay Thai, and general fitness.
